Why not celebrate Australia Day this year at one of the events in the local area. Ku-ring-gai Council will be hosting its usual Australia Day event at Bicentennial Park and the combined churches of South Turramurra are hosting their Australia Day BBQ breakfast at the Field of Dreams baseball park. Ku-ring-gai Australia Day at Bicentennial Park
Celebrate Ku-ring-gai’s rich multiculturalism this Australia Day through music, dance and food at Bicentennial Park, Prince of Wales Drive, West Pymble.
Head to Bicentennial Park to enjoy a range of entertainment and activities including a live stage show featuring the Wild Aussies kids show, bush band, reptile show and cultural dance performances.
Attendees will also enjoy games and amusement rides, sheep shearing, sheep dog demonstrations and roaming performers.
After the event concludes, attendees are encouraged to make their way to the Ku-ring-gai Fitness and Aquatic Centre for an afternoon of pool entertainment and activities.
Due to limited parking, a free shuttle bus will be provided to the event from Gordon train station.

Combined Churches of South Turramurra Australia Day BBQ Breakfast
The combined churches of South Turramurra host a BBQ breakfast on Australia Day, 26 January for the local community as a way to celebrate our beautiful country and community.
The event includes food, drinks, music, a jumping castle, craft, face painting and enriching conversations.
