Canoon Rd Netball Lights before Council 24 July 2018

Update 25/7/2018 Disappointing news, Ku-ring-gai Council on 24/7/2018 voted in favour (7 votes to 2) of extending netball under lights at Canoon Rd from 2 to 4 nights per week – Monday to Thursday. There were 7 KNA speakers in favour and 4 residents against. Given there is only 1 night for games (U9s) and the other 3 nights for training there will be very little relief from Saturday netball...

South Turramurra Shopping Centre

A short history of the shopping centre. The shopping centre was built as part of the Balmaringa Estate and was opened officially in 1959 with only three shops operating –the butcher , the supermarket (now licenced) and the chemist.
