Exit from Kissing Point Rd to Pacific Highway

Posted on

The left hand turn lane from Kissing Point Road to the Northbound Pacific Highway ought to be marked “Left Turn Only” to facilitate the movement of traffic. Too often the lane is blocked by right turn traffic which has filled the Southbound lanes on the Pacific Highway due to a red light on Rohini St. Right turn traffic is also frustrated by left turning vehicles waiting for the green left arrow. The left turn arrow has to wait for the pedestrian crossing to clear and is usually at least 30 seconds behind the right turn arrow.

Many representations have been made to Council and the RMS on this matter, but to no avail. It’s about time someone listened.
