South Turramurra’s Comenarra Ward Councillor Callum Clarke put forward the Canoon Rd Recreation Area Plan of Management (PoM) amendment. If you aren’t in favour of the week-night netball amendment you are urged to email Deputy Mayor Clarke (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let him know, and of course send your submissions to Ku-ring-gai Council and email the other Councillors (email@example.com).
The Kissing Point Progress Association would like thank the Councillors who did not support this rushed and opaque PoM amendment. A big thank you goes out to our local Ward Cr Pettett and Cr Greenfield, Cr Kelly, Cr Smith, and Cr Szatow. The KPPA on behalf of residents are grateful for their support. It was unfortunate their constructive motion to establish a collaborative summit with Hornsby Council to deal with this issue was met with such disdain from the other Councillors. The other Councillors saw fit to ridicule the suggestion and use it as an opportunity for political mileage and willfully ignored the collaborative spirit of the motion.
Don’t forget to look at Ku-ring-gai Council’s Public Exhibition page for the Canoon Road Recreation Area Plan of Management (PoM) amendment.
